Joe Gibbs. Joe Theismann. John Riggins. Dexter Manley. Diron Talbert. Roger Staubach. Randy White. Harvey Martin.

The first three are obvious – the two NFC Championship games (1972 and 1982) that the Redskins won to advance to the Super Bowl, and the devastating, year-ending 1979 loss to Dallas that kept the Redskins out of the playoffs.
